Electrification of KSSS Pass Boat Häftig Featuring ePropulsion I-20 Inboard & G BatteriesePropulsion converted the KSSS pass boat Häftig, known as Baljan, into an electric vessel with twin I-20 inboards, 4 x G102 batteries, and a 15 kW charger for transporting guests in the Stockholm archipelago. Operating a fixed route of over 1 NM between three piers, Baljan runs one trip per hour. Bring Sustainable Solutions to the Waterways of FranceePropulsion has collaborated with the French boat rental company Les Canalous to create its first fully electric canal boat, enhancing their fleet and commitment to sustainability. The upgraded Lapeniche-s is a six-cabin hybrid vessel for up to 12 guests, powered by ePropulsion’s I-20 inboard motor, a 5” digital display, remote smart throttle, and four G102-100 batteries. With an onboard generator powered by HVO fuels, the boat can operate independently of charging stations, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%. |
